SZCB-01 speed sensor is a reluctance speed sensor based on electromagnetic induction principle, and its signal processing has the following characteristics:
1. Signal generation principle
The SZCB-01 sensor achieves speed measurement through the principle of electromagnetic induction. The sensor is composed of magnetic steel, soft magnetic armature, and coil inside. When a magnetic object (such as a gear) rotates, the magnetic field (magnetic lines) passes through the coil, and the magnetic flux in the coil changes, thereby inducing an electromotive force. The frequency of this induced electromotive force is proportional to the rotational speed, and the signal amplitude is related to the rotational speed and the gap between the probe and the tooth tip.
2. Signal characteristics
-No need for external power supply: Due to the use of electromagnetic induction principle, the sensor itself does not require an external power supply, but generates an induction signal through a rotating magnetic field.
-Strong output signal: The amplitude of the sensing signal is relatively large and usually does not require additional amplification, which can be directly used for measurement.
-Strong anti-interference ability: The sensor can work stably in harsh environments such as smoke, oil and gas, water and gas, and has excellent anti-interference performance.
3. Signal processing method
-Frequency signal: The signal output by the sensor is a frequency signal proportional to the rotational speed. If it is an involute gear, the induced voltage is a sine wave.
-Signal conditioning: The output signal usually needs to be converted into a square wave or digital signal suitable for subsequent processing through conditioning circuits such as filtering, shaping, etc.
-Speed calculation: By calculating the number of pulses of the induction signal per unit time, the speed value can be obtained.
4. Precautions for installation and use
-Installation clearance: The installation clearance between the sensor and the gear is usually 0.5-1.0mm, and it is recommended to have an installation clearance of 0.8mm.
-Gear material and tooth profile: The gear material should be made of metal material with strong magnetic permeability, and the tooth profile is recommended to be involute.
-Environmental adaptability: The sensor has a wide operating temperature range (-10 ℃ to+120 ℃) and is suitable for various harsh environments.
