Basic Info

The displacement sensor ZDET200B is a sensor based on the LVDT (Linear Variable Differential Transformer) principle, suitable for measuring stroke displacement of hydraulic motors. Its signal conversion principle is as follows:

1. Basic structure
The ZDET200B sensor is mainly composed of a primary coil, a secondary coil, and a movable iron core. The primary coil is used to generate an alternating magnetic field, while the secondary coil is used to induce electromotive force.

2. Working principle
-When a constant frequency AC voltage is applied to the primary coil, an alternating magnetic field is generated.
-When the iron core moves in a magnetic field, it changes the magnetic flux of the secondary coil. Due to the opposite winding direction of the secondary coil, the magnetic flux of the secondary coil near the iron core increases, while the magnetic flux of the secondary coil far away from the iron core decreases.
-According to Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction, an induced electromotive force is generated in the secondary coil, and the magnitude and phase of the induced electromotive force are related to the position of the iron core.
-When the iron core is located at the center position, the induced electromotive forces of the two secondary coils are equal in magnitude and opposite in phase, and the output signal is zero; When the iron core moves, the output signal is no longer zero and is proportional to the displacement.

3. Signal processing
-The weak AC signal output by the sensor needs to be amplified, filtered, and demodulated through a signal conditioning circuit.
-The amplification circuit amplifies the signal to a level suitable for processing by an analog-to-digital converter (ADC).
-The demodulation circuit converts AC signals into DC signals for subsequent analog-to-digital conversion.
-Finally, the signal is converted into a voltage or current signal proportional to the displacement, which is used by the control system.

4. Characteristics
-The ZDET200B sensor adopts non-contact measurement, avoiding friction and wear, and has high accuracy and long service life.
-Stable signal output, strong anti-interference ability, suitable for complex industrial environments.
-Easy to install, suitable for use in harsh environments such as high temperatures, oil and gas.
