Basic Info

The regular inspection of the sealing performance of the bellows globe valve WJ15F1.6P is a key link to ensure its safe and reliable operation in hydrogen cooling systems. The following are testing methods and maintenance recommendations:
1、 Testing method
1. Appearance inspection
Check whether there are cracks, damages, corrosion or other damages on the surface of the corrugated pipe. Bellows are critical components for sealing, and any damage can lead to leakage.
Check whether there are scratches, dents, or deformations on the valve body, valve cover, and other components.
2. Stress testing
Close the valve and slowly fill the inlet end with the test medium (such as air or nitrogen) to 1.1 times the maximum working pressure, maintain the pressure for at least 2 minutes, and observe whether there is any leakage at the outlet end.
Conduct a pressure sealing test on the corrugated pipe components, with a test pressure of 1.1 times the maximum allowable working pressure and a duration of not less than 30 seconds.
3. Helium mass spectrometry leak detection
Perform helium mass spectrometry leak detection on the entire valve, especially on the bellows components, valve body, and valve cover connection, to ensure that there are no detectable leaks.
4. Inspection of the lifespan of corrugated pipes
Simulate working conditions for corrugated pipe life testing to ensure that its minimum service life meets regulations.
5. Other tests
Check whether the valve stem is bent or deformed, whether the threads are intact, and ensure the sealing between the valve stem and the packing box.
Check the sealing surface between the valve core and valve seat for wear, scratches, or corrosion, and repair or replace as necessary.
2、 Maintenance suggestions
1. Regular inspection cycle
Set the inspection cycle based on the frequency of use and operating environment. Valves that are frequently used or in harsh working conditions are recommended to be inspected once a month, while valves that are used less frequently and in good working conditions should be inspected once a quarter.
2. Cleaning and anti-corrosion
Regularly clean the surface of the valve to remove dust and dirt, and prevent corrosion. Remove rust from slightly corroded areas and apply anti-corrosion paint.
3. Replace damaged components
If damaged components such as bellows, valve core, valve seat, or valve stem are found, they must be replaced in a timely manner to ensure sealing performance.
4. Recording and evaluation
Record the inspection results after each test, evaluate the health status of the valve, and provide reference for subsequent maintenance.
