The stator cooling water filter element WFF-150-1 is a main water filter element used in the stator cooling water system of steam turbine generators. Its main function is to filter impurities in the cooling water, ensure the cleanliness and conductivity of the cooling water, and thus ensure the stable operation of the cooling system.

1. Filtering principle
The filter element WFF-150-1 is made of polypropylene ultrafine fibers that are hot-melt entangled, with a porous structure and high filtration accuracy. When the cooling water passes through the filter element, solid particles, suspended solids, microorganisms, rust and other impurities are intercepted by the filter material, while clean cooling water flows through the filter element to cool the generator stator coil.

2. Multi layer structure design
This filter cartridge usually consists of two or more layers of filter media, the inner layer providing initial filtration and the outer layer further intercepting fine particles to ensure filtration efficiency. This design not only improves the filtration effect, but also extends the service life of the filter element.

3. The role of the protection system
By effectively removing impurities from the cooling water, the filter element can prevent particulate matter from depositing inside the stator coil, avoiding blockage or corrosion, thereby extending the service life of the generator stator coil and other related components. In addition, clean cooling water can better remove the heat generated by the stator coils and improve cooling efficiency.

4. Corrosion resistance and high temperature performance
The material of the filter element has good corrosion resistance and high temperature resistance, and can operate stably for a long time in the complex working conditions of the power plant cooling water system. Its maximum operating temperature can reach 79 ℃.

5. Maintenance and replacement
As the usage time prolongs, the impurities inside the filter element will gradually increase, and the filtration efficiency will decrease. Therefore, it is necessary to regularly check the pressure difference or appearance of the filter element, and clean or replace it in a timely manner. Regular maintenance of the filter element is key to ensuring the normal operation of the cooling system.
